I will conduct five (5) in-person behavioral observations of your child at school. One on one interviews will occur with the student, general and special teachers, as well as parent/guardian. Finally, the student will complete a motivation scale. After completion of FBA, as a team we will develop a Behavior Intervention Plan(BIP). The BIP will include strategies for the following: 1) preventing the occurrence of the interfering behavior, 2) teaching or increasing use of the replacement behavior, 3) increasing learning opportunities and social engagement, and 4) developing a plan to assist your child's school based- IEP team.
